Identity V is an asymmetrical horror game from NetEase where four Survivors face off against a powerful Hunter in 1v4 matches. Gameplay in Identity V is all about prediction and teamwork. As a Survivor, your main goal is to decode five cipher machines, open the exit gate, and escape. You kite the Hunter by looping around pallets and windows, stunning them at the right time, and using character abilities to stall. Strong communication, body-blocking for teammates, and timing rescues from the rocket chair are what separate casual players from ranked climbers.As a Hunter, the focus flips: you track Survivors using listening skills, abilities, and map knowledge. You want to quickly down the first target, control priority areas, and interrupt cipher progress. Choosing when to camp, patrol, or pressure decoders is what decides most high-level matches.Identity V also has ranked modes, quick matches, custom lobbies, and seasonal events with limited-time skins.
